Amended sailing instructions have been issued for keelboat Divisions A, B & S38; Division C & Sportsboats; and Division D & Trailable Yachts. The amended versions can be downloaded from the documents page. Please check that you have the latest versions.

Get set for racing with an egg & bacon roll, and a free coffee

Egg and bacon rolls will be available on Saturday and Sunday morning at a special price of $7.00. Grab a roll and a free coffee of your choice (courtesy of the Penfold Motors group) and go sailing. Fruit salad, gourmet rolls and muffins will also be available.

The sailing instructions for the keelboat divisions, sportsboats and trailable yachts have been posted on the website. There are separate sailing instructions for Saturday's racing and for the long race on Sunday, so make sure you download both documents.

Sailing Instructions for off-the-beach divisions

The sailing instructions for the off-the-beach divisions are now available. There are two sets - one for the lasers and multihulls (races will be run by Port Melbourne Yacht Club) and one for all other off-the-beach classes (races will be run by Williamstown Sailing Club)

Entries closing soon!

Entries for the 2014 Lipton Cup Regatta are closing soon, so don't forget to get your entry in. Entries for keelboat divisions close at noon on Wednesday 12 November, and at 10.00 am on Saturday 15 November for off-the-beach classes. Late entries may be accepted at the sole discretion of the Race Committee.

What's on for your family and friends

Visitors are more than welcome to relax at Royals while they are waiting for their tired adventurers to return from a hard day's racing. Just sign the visitors book, and all is fine. The dining room will be open for lunch on both the Saturday and Sunday, and food will also be available for purchase after racing. The bar will be open from 11.00 am, and coffees will be available all day.

Come back to Royals after racing

All competitors in the Lipton Cup Regatta are invited to come back to Royals after racing. Bring your friends and family too! The bar will be open, and there'll be music from a DJ. Grab a burger from the BBQ on Saturday. Presentations for the off-the-beach divisions will take place on Saturday (approximately 18.30-19.00 hrs) for the keelboat divisions, after the racing on the Sunday afternoon.

This year, the Lipton Cup Regatta is using the TopYacht Entry System. For those who aren't familiar with TopYacht, here's a guide prepared by Williamstown Sailing Club on how to register your boat online. It's been written for those who are not so web savvy, and largely for those who are entering their boat into the TopYacht Entry System for the first time.

OTB Marine Victorian Sailing Cup

We are delighted that this year, for the first time, the Lipton Cup Regatta will make up a leg of the Victorian Sailing Cup series (Yachting Victoria's series for Junior and Youth Classes). International Cadet, Optimist and Minnow sailors competing in the Lipton can earn points towards OTB Marine Victorian Sailing Cup.
